WED - sudden end to 5 days of solitude, drinking, movies, motorcycles and gamelan music; D. - a vernissage and stories from Bangladesh
THU - bring something that will save the world; packing; Rome; F. is a father, projects and stories from Congo; room full of toys and cricket songs
FRI - strike aquat, street art canvases, dress, reading books on Africa, stories from Japan; Rome on scooter; brother calls to say he’ll visit
SAT - to Napoli; F. is a great guide; sea food, open doors, granita, pulcinella, trashcans, birthday, japanese girls in boots, midnight traffic jams, hashish
SUN - goodbye toNapoli; dry coast, camorra towns, Romanian kid sent to make money on holiday; bare-footed in garden; idealistic night plans - inspire,,
MON - goodbye, F. , meet u in 2012 when engineered black holes will put an end to the world; cold at home
4 days - boredom in work, reading of saviour utopias; scrubbing floors at home; reading reading reading - “sotto il sole giaguaro”
SAT - high from detergents, hands red with washing bedsheets; night trip with T. on bike; bewitching full moon rising over Danube
SUN - 12 hours of work; brother comes - I got lots of books; speaking in languages and native tongue,; all same at home, except my nephew started walking; drinking wine in the night
MON - official visit, cigarette breaks and coffee chats; a pleasant surprise; an Andes city; talking of things long gone, listening K’s stories of diving; i’m in love; dreaming of hunting wild boars, and a strange song that will fill my morning
TUE - dining with the clouds, floor and world rotating idly; the deepest blue, the deepest joy; “magic moments”; little Neptun
WED - they left, cold harsh rain; I’m broken hearted; I would steal a car and drive west
